Today I am really excited to share with you all my first mini-course! I actually started on another longer, and more involved course on letter-logo design, which is coming next, and got sucked into creating my first mini-course on Discovering Your Target Market & Niche. It was a lot of fun to create, and I learned a great deal more on all things course-making. I decided to host on Skillshare when I started taking a course, Learn Video Editing with Premiere Pro CC for beginners and loved all of the other courses so much, I wanted to be part of the platform.
I have found nothing but high-quality online classes on Skillshare, with the most helpful, and welcoming community of teachers and Skillshare employees. There is literally a class for everyone, from one of my favorite teachers, Teela Cunningham, and her Hand-Lettering course,
And over 10,000 other high-quality online classes. You learn at your own pace, there are no deadlines, no pressure, you don’t even have to talk to the teacher or other students, if you want to just learn and move on. There are projects you can take on and show examples of what you’ve learned, so it can be a good place to start growing an audience for your own business or blog also.
I will totally get a kickback if you sign up for Skillshare from any of the links in this post, which is way rad, because if you do sign up through one of my links, you will get THREE months of a full Skillshare membership for .99! I pay $10 a month, which is absolutely a bargain, but .99 is a steal. You get access to all of the courses too, not just certain ones. And you can become an affiliate if you find you really love promoting the classes and just love Skillshare altogether, which you probably will.
Upcoming classes: How to Create a Custom Letterform Logo for Free, How to Create a Branding Board and Templates, along with my free classes that I am working on: How to Create Textured Overlays, How to Use Texture Overlays on Your Photos (and make them look great), How to Create Transparent Images, and many more!
I’m way excited to be able to teach branding finally. It is certainly one of the topics I am most passionate about, and intend to be as thorough and helpful as I can. I’m excited to be a part of Skillshare’s Teachers, and I hope you decide to check it out, even for a little while.
If you have any suggestions for free classes, or a series, or other classes, feel free to comment, or leave me a message on my Facebook,
If you already use Skillshare, let me know where to find you, and if you teach, I’d love to check out your courses, feel free to link them here in the comments!!!!!
